Mastery View Formative assessments are packaged, pre-built formative assessments that are purchased from Instructure.
If your district has purchased Mastery View Formative assessments, you can add them to your trackers and curriculum maps. Mastery View Formative assessments are delivered in the same way as your own formative assessments, and they display in your existing trackers and curriculum maps.
Open Assessments
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Assessments link.
Filter Assessments
In the Created By drop-down menu, select the Mastery View Formative option.
Add Assessment to Tracker
Locate the assessment you want to add. Then, in the Add drop-down menu click the Add to Tracker option.
Select Trackers
In the Select Tracker list, find the names of the trackers where you want to add the assessment and click the corresponding checkboxes [1].
To add the assessments to the selected trackers, click the Add button [2].
Note: Trackers that already include the assessment display in the Already in Trackers list. To view the assessment in one of those trackers, click the tracker name link [3].

The assessment displays in the Tracker View page.
Note: Mastery View Formative assessments have preset scoring and mastery levels that can not be edited. The scoring column header on the Tracker View page will display the DCM Scored label instead of mastery level point values.
Add Assessment to Curriculum Map
To add a Mastery View Formative assessment to a curriculum map, you must return to the Assessments page. Then, in the list, locate the tracker where you want to add the Mastery View Formative assessment.
In the Add drop down menu, click the Add to CMAP option.
Select Curriculum Map
In the Select Curriculum Map list, find the curriculum maps where you want to add the assessment and click the corresponding checkboxes [1].
To add the assessment to the selected curriculum maps, click the Add button [2].
