How do I enable LockDown Browser for an individual formative assessment?
From a tracker, you can enable the LockDown Browser tool for an individual Enhanced Accommodation (EA) formative assessment.
Students must have Respondus LockDown Browser installed on a compatible device (MacOS, Windows, Chromebook, or iPad) to access the assessment.
Notes:
- You cannot enable LockDown Browser for an uploaded document-based assessment or for a non-EA formative assessment.
- You can also enable LockDown Browser for all assessments in a tracker.
- A Mastery Connect admin can enable the LockDown Browser tool for benchmark assessments.

1. Open Trackers
In the global navigation, click the trackers link.

2. Open Tracker
In the Trackers page, click the tracker name link.

3. Open Standard
In the Tracker View Page, click the standard that includes the assessment you want to open.

4. Open Assessment
In the Standard View page, locate the assessment and click the Assess tab.

5. Enable Lockdown Browser
In the Assess window, click the Lockdown Browser icon.

6. View Installment Alert
An installment alert displays. Verify that your students have LockDown Browser installed.

7. Don't Show Warning Again
To prevent the alert from displaying again, you can click the Don't show this warning again checkbox.

8. Close Settings
Click the Close button.
