Assessment authors can preview the assessment experience as a student. This allows you to ensure the assessment looks and behaves the way it needs to from the student's perspective.

How do I use Student Preview to take an assessment?
1. Open Assessments Tab
In the global navigation, click the Assessments link.
2. Locate Assessment
In the Assessments page, you can either search for an assessment or locate and select an assessment from the Assessment list.
3. Open More Options
In the assessments list, click the More Options icon at the right-hand side of your chosen assessment.
4. Open Student Preview
Then, click Student Preview.
5. View Assessment Student Preview
The Assessment Student Preview provides you with item-level details, such as the standard and item tile, to allow you to quickly identify the question you are previewing.
6. Navigate Assessment
To navigate within the assessment, use the navigation options. You can also use any tool buttons that display.
7. Finish Assessment
When you are using the student preview, click the Finish button to receive the scoring results by the standard.
8. Restart or Close Assessment
To restart the assessment, click the Restart button.
To exit the student preview, click the Close view button.
