How do I use the Manage Students page as a Mastery Connect admin?
As a Mastery Connect admin, you can use the Manage Students page to view a list of the student accounts at your organization. You can filter the list, search for a student by name, and view some student account details.
In the Manage Students page, you can also edit a student account, send email messages, send activation emails, import email addresses, or archive the account.
Open Admin Menu
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Admin drop-down menu [1]. Then, click the Manage option [2].

In the Manage list, click the Students link.
View Manage Students Page
From the Manage Students page, you can add a student account [1], search and filter the student list [2], and view a list of all student accounts at your institution [3].
You can also view progress indicators that display the percent of parent accounts and student accounts that are activated [4].
Find Student Accounts
To search for student by name, enter all or part of the student's name in the Search field [1]. Then press the Enter or Return key on your keyboard.
You can use the filters to filter the list staff member list. To view all students with a specific gender, click the Gender drop-down menu [2] and select a gender from the list.
To view all students with a specific race, click the Race drop-down menu [3] and select a race from the list.
To view students who are Hispanic or Latino, click the Hispanic or Latino checkbox [4].
To view all students enrolled in a specific program, click a program checkbox [5]. You can select Free or Reduced Lunch (FRL), Individualized Education Plan (IEP), or English Language Learner (ELL).
To hide the filters, click the Collapse icon [6].
To view additional pages of students, use the page numbers [7].
View Bulk Management Options
To view account management options, click the More button [1]. Then, select one of the following options:
- Export Students [2]: Export all student account information to a CSV file.
- Send Parent Activation Emails [3]: Send all inactive parents an activation email.
- Send Student Activation Emails [4]: Send all inactive students an activation email.
- Import Parent Emails [5]: Open a window for importing parent emails via CSV file.
- Import Student Emails [6]: Open a window for importing student emails via CSV file.
View Student Account Details
You can view details for each student account in the list. To open trackers the student belongs to, click the student's name link [1].
You can also view a student's school [2], student number or ID [3], and student username [4].
You can view the student's gender, race, whether the student is Hispanic or Latino, and whether the student is enrolled in FRL, IEP, or ELL [5].
If an active student account has an associated parent email address, you can view the date the parent last logged in [6].
You can view the date the student last logged in [7] as well as a bar indicating the student's overall standard mastery progress [8].
View Account Management Options
You can manage a student account in the following ways:
- Edit [1]: Edit the student's account details or change the student's password.
- Email Parents [2]: Open a window for sending an email to the parents.
- Email Student [3]: Open a window for sending an email to the student.
- Print Username/Password [4]: Print a note containing username and password information for a student. If the student has never logged in, the note includes the Mastery Connect URL, the student's username, and a temporary password. If the student account is active, the note includes the Mastery Connect URL, and the student's username.
- Delete Student [5]: archive the student account.
Notes:
- If the student account is not yet activated, you can send the student an activation email by clicking the Send Student Activation Email link [6].
- If the student's parent account is not yet activated, you can send the parent an activation email by clicking the Send Parent Activation Email link [7].
