How do I create an image dropdown item?
In Mastery Connect, you can create an image drop-down item. An image drop-down is a fill in the blank question in which each blank located on the image is pre-populated with a drop-down menu of responses.
You can create any item type through the Item Editor. You can also use the Item Editor to add passages, add item-level tools, and save the item. To open and use the Item Editor, learn more about:
- Creating an item in your personal item bank
- Creating an item in the district item bank as an administrator
- Creating an item from within an assessment
Enter Prompt
In the Item Editor, enter a question or item prompt in the Compose question field [1].
Enter optional text that displays when the cursor hovers over the image in the Text on hover field [2].
Enter text that displays when the image can not be displayed to the user in the Image alternative text field [3].
To edit the image size, enter a new width in pixels in the Width (px) field or the Height (px) field [4]. When you enter one dimension, the other auto populates to maintain the aspect ratio.
