How do I create a multiple choice Item?
In Mastery Connect, you can create a multiple choice item. A multiple choice question requires the student to select one or multiple responses to a prompt.
You can create any item type through the Item Editor. You can also use the Item Editor to add passages, add item-level tools, and save the item. To open and use the Item Editor, learn more about:

Enter Question
In the Item Editor, enter the question in the Compose question field [1].
Enter answer options in the Multiple choice options fields [2].
To re-order options, click the Re-order icon [3] and drag the option to a new location in the list.
To add more answer options, click the Add button [4].
To delete an answer option, click the Delete icon [5].
Set Correct Answers
To set the point value for a correct response, enter a point value for the item in the Point(s) text box [1].
To select the correct response(s), click the checkbox next to the correct answer(s) [2].
To allow multiple responses, click the Multiple responses checkbox [3].
To allow an alternate answer, click the Alternate Answer icon [4]. Then, select the correct alternate answer.
To add additional scoring, layout, formatting, and labeling options for the item, click the More options drop-down menu [5].
Validate Answers
To preview the item interaction, click answer checkboxes [1].
To view correct and incorrect answers, click the Show Answers checkbox [2]. Correct answers display a check mark and are shaded green [3]. Incorrect answers display an X and are highlighted red [4], unselected correct answers are highlighted yellow [5].
The number of points awarded for the item as answered in the preview window over the number of points possible display in the scoring bubble [6].
