How do I download Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports as an admin?
As a Mastery Connect administrator (admin) or a user with Benchmark Reporting permissions, you can download, view, and distribute the Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports. The Mastery View Predictive Assessments from Instructure are rigorous state-specific benchmarks that measure student academic progress and predict summative outcomes on state assessments.
You can view all the reports for your school or district, or you can filter the reports list by a school or teacher.
You can download reports individually as PDF or XLSX files, or you can select multiple reports and export them as a ZIP file.
Notes:
- Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports become available three business days after the availability window closes.
- Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports are also available via ShareFile.
- Teachers can download teacher and student Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports.
- You can learn more about Mastery Connect roles and permissions.
- By default, school admins can view reports for their schools. To restrict Mastery View Predictive Assessment report access for school admins, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM).
Open Admin
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Admin drop-down menu [1]. Click the Assessments option [2].
Open Benchmark Assessments
Click the Benchmarks link.
View Mastery View Predictive Assessments
To view only Mastery View Predictive Assessments in the Benchmarks page, click the Created By drop-down menu [1], and select the Mastery View Predictive Assessments option [2].
You can also search for the Mastery View Predictive Assessments using the Search bar [3] and other filters [4]. To view additional search filters, click the Expand icon [5].
Open Predictive Reports
To view predictive reports, click the Available Reports and Predictive Reports icon [1].
Alternatively, click the More Options icon [2], and select the Predictive Reports option [3].
View Predictive Report Files
By default, the Predictive Reports tab displays in the Assessment Manager [1]. In the Predictive Reports tab, you can view the assessment availability status and availability dates [2], and School and Teacher filter drop-down menus [3].
If you are a district admin, you can view the district predictive report file [4], as well as expandable folders containing reports for all schools and teachers [5].
If you are a school admin, you can view the school predictive report file, as well as expandable folders containing reports for all teachers and classrooms.
If you are a teacher or another user with the benchmark reporting permission, you can view expandable folders containing reports for your related classrooms.
Filter by School, Teacher, or Tracker
To view reports for a specific school, click the School filter drop-down menu and select a school [1].
To view reports for a specific teacher, click the Teacher filter drop-down menu and select a teacher [2].
If you are a teacher or another user with the benchmark reporting permission, you can click the Classroom filter drop-down menu and select a tracker.
Download Individual Reports
To view school reports, click the school name link [1]. The school predictive report file name displays [2].
To view teacher and student reports, click the teacher name link [3]. Then, click a tracker name link [4]. Teacher and student predictive report file names display [5].
To download any report, click the report name link. To open and view the file, locate the file in your browser's default downloads folder.
Export Reports
To export one or more reports to a ZIP file, select the file checkboxes.
To select a single report, click its checkbox [1].
To select a group of reports contained within a folder, click the folder checkbox [2].
View Selected Files
You can view the number of files selected for export [1].
Files or folders selected for export display a checkmark [2]. Folders containing only some selected reports display a dash [3].
Export Selected Files
To export the selected files, click the Export button [1]. Then, select the Export Selected Files option [2].
To view previously exported files, you can click the Show Export History option [3].
Create Data Export File
By default, the name of the data export will be the name of the Mastery View Predictive Assessment. However, you can edit the name by typing in the Data Export name field [1].
To create the data export and open the Data Export page, click the Export button [2].
View Data Exports Later
You can view data exports on the Data Export page at any time. In the Global Navigation menu, click the Analytics drop-down menu [1]. Then, click the Manage option [2], and select the Data Exports link [3].
