When creating your Canvas Student ePortfolios account, a profile URL will be auto-generated for you. You can update your profile URL, if desired. Most users want their profile URL to contain their name so it is easy for employers and connections to find. After you update your profile URL, be sure to add it to your resume, linked social media accounts, business cards, and anywhere else you network.
Open Profile Settings
To open your profile settings, click the Me icon [1] and then click the Settings link [2].
View Profile Settings
In Account Navigation, click the Profile link.
Update Username
The username field will display an auto-generated URL that was made while you were creating your account. To update your username and profile URL, enter new text in the Username field. The text you enter in the username field will display at the end of the URL.
Save Changes
Click the Update button to save your changes.
