When a student is moved from one classroom to another during the school year, the student's information, including mastery levels and scores, can be transferred to the new teacher's tracker.
To transfer a student to a different classroom tracker, the following criteria must all be met:
- The student must be transferred within the same school.
- The grade level and standards must be the same for both classrooms.
- The student must have been manually added to the tracker (students added as part of SIS sections can not be transferred using this function).
Open Tracker
In the Global Navigation menu, click the Trackers link [1], then click the name of the tracker [2].
Open Student Editor
Click the Students tab [1]. Then, hover over a student's name and click the Edit link [2].
Open Transfer Window
In the Edit Student window, click the Transfer link.
Select New Classroom
In the Transfer window, click the Transfer to Classroom drop-down menu [1]. Then, find the classroom where you want to transfer the student and click the section name [2].
Note:
- In the Transfer to Classroom dropdown list, you will only see trackers from teachers in your school with the same standards.
Transfer to Classroom
To transfer the student to the new classroom, click the Transfer button.
Note:
- If you do not see the Transfer option, your student may have been added as an SIS section, and you will be unable to transfer them using this function.
View Transfer
The transferred student displays in the tracker for the new classroom.
