How do I change the expiration date for a test with the Mastery Connect Teacher app on an iOS device?

On June 27, 2024, the Mastery Connect Teacher and Student mobile apps will be discontinued. There will be no further app updates and functionality will no longer be guaranteed. It is recommended that educators and students remove these apps from their devices and connect via their web browser or the Canvas mobile app.

In the Mastery Connect Teacher app on an iOS device, when you generate a test ID, it is automatically set to expire in seven days. If you want the test available for a longer or shorter time period, you can set a general or custom test expiration date.

Notes:

  • Changing the expiration date of a test is only available on iOS devices.
  • The images shown in this lesson are from an iPhone. Other iOS interfaces may have slight differences, but have the same functionality unless otherwise noted.

Locate the assessment in the Assessments view. In the Assessment window, to change the expiration date for an active test ID, tap the ID:[Number] link.

To change the expiration date for an expired test ID, tap the ID: Expired option.

Select New Expiration Time Frame

To select from a list of pre-set time frames, tap the Expires option [1]. Then, scroll through the calendar roll and select a time frame option [2].

To select a custom time, tap the Custom Generation option [1].

Scroll through the calendar roll and tap the new Date and Time options [2].

Save Changes

To save changes, tap the Save option.
