Using Mastery Connect Assessments in Canvas without linking to a tracker

Hello, 

New to MasteryConnect and have tried looking for this answer.  We have teachers who want to use a Mastery  Connect assessment but not link it to the tracker.  We use Canvas as our LMS so we want to give it to the students through Canvas but not link it to the tracker as they do not want any data tied to the assessment. 

is this possible?
