When I go to score a open ended/ short answer question on an assessment, I can enter the points earned and save it, but it will not update the student's score. When I move on to the next student's assessment, the previously saved student's assessment resets. I am unable to grade the assessment. Never had that problem before and unsure how to resolve it. Any ideas?

This sounds like something that might clear up with refreshing the browser or logging out and back into Mastery Connect. However, is it still happening?

Haha, I have done that multiple times over three days. That's usually a first step in most troubleshooting steps. I even cleared by cookies and cache, checked for updates on my browser and computer and yes, the problem persists. I am certain it is a Mastery Connect issue.
Oh, phooey, @EricaBrantley. When I try it here, the manual scoring seems to save properly, but the problem could be related to a certain item type or a certain access point. How do you usually access the Performance Grader? What kind of assessment is it? (item-based?) Is this happening with multiple assessments? Is the short answer item you are grading one from an item bank or one you created? Exactly what kind of item type? (essay with rich text, essay plain text, short text, essay long text). Feel free to contact support as well. They may be aware of an issue or be able to access your particular assessment. - Jen
Right! Such an odd issue. Not having a problem with any other assessments. It's only one question on the assessment, its an essay (plain text) question. The question came from an item bank created by my district. I will reach out to support. Thank you!
