I just got a new MacBook Air (2017 - Upgraded from a 2012.) Every website I go to works like a charm, except canvas. I can log in with no problems or delays, but when it gets to the dashboard, there are only boxes and "loading" symbols where my Classes should be, and they never load. iI've waited up to 20 minutes with no progress.
Bottom line, I currently cannot use canvas on my new computer, and I have no idea why.
Please send help!

Hello there, @ValerieEck ...
Sorry to read that you are experiencing issues when navigating around Canvas. There are some things that you can try:
- Make sure that your web browser is up-to-date. In general, both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox are good browsers to use when navigating around the Canvas environment. Also, be sure to check out What are the browser and computer requirements for Instructure products?
- Clear your browser's history/cache files. Once you do that, shut down your browser and then re-start it. Log back in to Canvas to see if anything has changed.
- Reach out to staff at California State University, Stanislaus that can help you with Canvas. This might be people in your Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning department. I found this page on their website that might be of help: Office of Academic Technology-NEW | California State University Stanislaus (csustan.edu).
- Connect with the Canvas Help Desk staff. They might have some additional suggestions for you. How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
Hopefully these suggestions will be of some help to you. Sing out if you have any other questions...thanks!
