I have tried copy/pasting the link into the subscription calendar thing on my iPad/iPhone and that will not work. I paste the link in, and the “add” button stays greyed out so I cannot click it. I tried going through the Canvas app to setting and clicking “subscribe to calendar feed” and it just opens the calendar app on my iPad/iPhone and that’s it. The pop up that is supposed to appear to confirm and add the subscription does not appear. What can I do to fix this?
Hello @RachelBillock
If you are using just the app, you may want to try subscribing with this method:
You can also try this using a regular browser if the app is giving you issues:
.If neither are working, It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing the cache and cookies or trying another browser.
In Chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click the three dots
Click settings
On the left, choose Privacy and Security
Then, clear browsing data
At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time. I suggest at least 4 weeks
Next to "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files," check the boxes.
Click Clear data.

I am having a same type of question I used my iPhone calendar to keep track of due assignments on canvas. With the new semester I cant seem to get canvas to import all of my information again! It says an identical subscribed calendar account already exists or something. Anyone know how to sinc all of my assignments for this semester? Does anyone have another calendar app that works with canvas?
I searched on every forum on internet and eventually end up fixing this by going calendars rogue and not syncing between your iPhone and iPad? That's super annoying, especially when you're trying to keep your schedule straight! Usually, it's a simple fix. It's all about how your devices are talking to each other through iCloud.
First things first, make sure you're signed into the same iCloud account on both your iPhone and your iPad. Go to Settings on both devices, tap on your name at the top, and double-check that the Apple ID is the same. If they're different, that's your problem right there! You'll need to sign in with the same Apple ID on both.
If the Apple IDs are the same, then it's time to check your iCloud Calendar settings. On both your iPhone and iPad, go to Settings, then tap on your name, then tap on iCloud. Make absolutely sure that the toggle for "Calendars" is turned on (it should be green). If it's off, turn it on, and give it a little while to sync.
Sometimes, even if the toggle is on, things can get a bit glitchy. Try turning the Calendars toggle off on both devices, waiting a few seconds, and then turning it back on. This can sometimes kickstart the syncing process.
If none of these solutions work, you can follow for much better assistance below.
