Canvas Teacher App does not redirect to my college login page

Is anyone else unable to log in to the Canvas app for Teachers?  I can find the name of my college, press next and then nothing happens (blank screen).  The app never redirects to the login for my college.

Hi! If your school isn't listed, it could work to try the alternative log-in method.

How do I view a QR code to log in to the Canvas mobile apps as an instructor? 

If that doesn't make it possible to log in with the Teacher app, please let the Community know! There may be some alternative options we can suggest.

Hello, thanks for your suggestion!  Actually the app does find my college listed, but after I select it and click next, I get a blank page.  The app never directs me to the college login page to finish signing in.  If you have any ideas how to fix this, I would appreciate it.

I'm not sure what would cause the blank page or pause in the sign-in process. That sometimes happens when schools use SSO. Did you share this with your local Canvas Admin or Canvas Support? I think this is one of those things that would be best solved with direct collaboration so they can see exactly what you experience.

Did the QR code scan work as an alternative?

Hello,  I actually spoke to the IT Dept at my college, but they claimed no other users had reported the same and it was a problem with my phone.

However, your QR code suggestion did the trick!  It bypassed the school login page and I got in directly.  Thank you so much!  It will be good to be back in business for the summer onwards.
