Grade passback with PowerSchool

Hello,

We are noticing what we believe to be changes to the syncing (passback) with PowerSchool that I would love to have some confirmation on and, perhaps, ways to work around them.

1. It seems as though assignments will not passback to PS until the due date has passed.  In the past, the assignment would show up in PS in the next passback after creation, therefore essentially that night.  Now, the assignment will not show up until the due date.  This is unfortunate as it is one way to remind students and, perhaps, notify parents of upcoming assignments, assessments, etc.
2. In addition to the above, we are also noticing that even if the due date has passed, the assignment will not appear in PS until at least one grade has been entered.
3. Lastly, we have noticed that assignments that are not assigned to an entire section, will not passback at all to PS.  Teachers will create two versions of a test for their regular education students and their special education students.  In the past, they could have the regular ed version assigned to the appropriate students and then passback to PS.  They would not sync the special ed version and would just enter those grades manually.  However, they are now noticing that if the assignment is not assigned to all in a section, it is not possible to sync.

Do the above observations seem accurate?  If so, is there any way to work around any of them?
