Celebrate Excellence in Education: Nominate Outstanding Educators by April 15!
As the year draws to a close and the holiday season is upon us, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible community that makes up Instructure—educators, parents, and students alike. You are the heart and soul of what we do, and it’s a privilege to be part of a mission that supports your learning journeys every day.
The holidays are a time of joy and togetherness, but we also know this season can bring challenges for many. Whether it’s the hustle of balancing work and family, the absence of loved ones, or the pressures of meeting expectations, this time of year can feel overwhelming. Please know that you are not alone in these moments, and it’s okay to take a step back to focus on what truly matters to you.
Amid the busyness, I encourage you to carve out time to be fully present with those who mean the most to you. Whether it’s a quiet conversation over a cup of cocoa (or a large mug of hot apple cider in my house!), sharing laughter around the dinner table, or simply pausing to appreciate the small, meaningful moments, these are the gifts that linger long after the holidays are over.
To our educators and administrators: thank you for inspiring curiosity and resilience in your students. Your dedication shapes futures, and we are endlessly grateful for the tireless energy you bring to your classrooms, virtual or in-person.
To parents and caregivers: your support fuels your children’s success. Whether it’s encouraging a love of learning, helping with homework, or simply cheering from the sidelines, your role is invaluable and deeply appreciated.
And to our learners: you remind us why we do what we do. Your creativity, determination, and dreams make the world brighter, and we are so proud of your achievements this year.
What I love most about our community is we are educators and parents. Administrators and caregivers. We are all learners.
From all of us at Instructure, we wish you a season filled with warmth, joy, and the comfort of connection. Thank you for being part of this extraordinary community. Here’s to a happy and hopeful new year for us all.
With gratitude,
