As procesregisseur, I focus on the support processes related to the preparation and execution of education by teachers. This process largely takes place in the digital learning environment. The heart of the digital learning environment is Canvas, the LMS of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Together with a team I work on the optimal design of these processes. I steer the balance between the needs of students and teachers and the interests of the organization. But also on feasibility and affordability of the desired process improvements. In doing so, I constantly coordinate with the other processes in the chain of educational support. My tasks are: - direct at tactical level the management, improvement and standardization of the education support processes - Proposing improvements for consultation at tactical and strategic level, whereby I work on creating support among those involved. - participate in projects that contribute to the renewal of processes - as delegated principal representing the interests of the faculties and the Student and Educational Affairs Department in the incident and change management of the Information Technology (IT) Department - representing the organization with suppliers of educational support systems and in national user groups.
