copied wrong course

I was trying to copy my course content from this year to next year's course and accidentally did the opposite. How can I get the content from this year back that I lost?

Another option for you (though you'd only have a limited window of time to do this) is to utilize your school's "test" or "beta" environment.  What you could do is export your course content from your school's "test" or "beta" environment, and then import that course export file back to your course in your school's "production" environment.  (This is the environment that you are typically used to signing into on a daily basis.)  Here are some Guides for you:

• How do I export a Canvas course?
  • Do this from either the "test" or "beta" environment.
