Sharing Canvas Quiz question

My teammate and I have been sharing content directly all year. Today when she shared a quiz she created with me and I imported it, I could not publish it. I tried to reimport it and tried again to no avail. I created an entirely new module and imported quiz into that, no go. I tried unpublishing module and republishing. We feel like we tried everything. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a setting that we are missing?

If you do not mind clarifying a few details. Are you able to see the entire quiz after importing...including going into it and editing it?

Is it importing published or unpublished?

Is this New or Classic quizzes?

Which method are you using to import (Send To, Copy To, Export/Import, Canvas Commons)?
