We are new to Canvas and I found out that macros in PowerPoint are not supported in Canvas. What do you all use to create the interactive games and can be used also on the Canvas mobile app?
Thanks,
Stephanie

Phet has simulations for several subjects and levels that you can directly embed into Canvas using embedding tool/ https://phet.colorado.edu/
Hi, @ssungerank ! I use SoftChalk Cloud to create interactive lessons. The lessons work through the mobile browser on mobile devises, but the Student mobile apps for Canvas do not yet support external tools, but Instructure is working on adding this functionality. I also saw this interesting integration the other day BookWidgets - A must-have for creative teachers in 1:1 iPad classrooms, but I have never used it. As I understand it, bookwidgets has a bunch of interactions that can be inserted into Canvas pages to turn them into interactive lessons. They look pretty spiffy, but I will stick wwith SoftChalk because I have invested in it, and I like that I can edit a lesson once and have the changes go live to all of my classes.
I hope that helps!
Thank you so much @dhulsey
You might want to think about Articulate Storyline. It will act like PowerPoint, but has so much more tools. The learning curve is not too bad if you use lynda.com for help.
Have you tried H5P.org? You can create a variety of content there and embed it into Canvas. Not sure how well it work son mobile devices though.. I assume the same.
@Jennifer Anderson, I really like H5P.org. Which plugin do you recommend?
SoftChalk is also a great tool for building interactive games, and integrates nicely with Canvas, including posting to Gradebook.

Thanks for the information!
I worked with a faculty member on using this site to create a matching game. While it does not send the grades to Canvas, it is nice way to practice concepts. You can use the embed code to insert into Canvas. https://interacty.me/
Canvas doesn’t support PowerPoint macros, but for creating interactive games compatible with the Canvas mobile app, consider tools like H5P for interactive content, Google Slides with linked elements, or external platforms like Kahoot or Quizizz. These are mobile-friendly and integrate well with Canvas.
