Discussion not Posting

I'm trying to post my initial reply (first posting) for my professors Discussion but It's taking hours to save and post. It has a powerpoint attached so maybe that's why its taking so long but I've tried multiple times and it will not post. 

What do I do to fix this issue?

Hello @AnnaWhitaker ...

Do you know how large of a file your PowerPoint presentation is?  Also, in Canvas, if you click on "Account" >> "Files", scroll to the very bottom of your screen and look for a percentage out of a certain number of MB used.  What is that percentage, and how many total MB of storage do you have available in your user "Files"?  If your PowerPoint presentation is larger than the available storage space, then you might have problems uploading the file.
