Our institution uses the & symbol to denote courses that fulfill specific general ed requirements. Ex. Math&107.
After the recent import update the instructors cannot search for their classes using the & symbol, it has no impact on the results. Example below.
The current work around is having the instructor pull the course id code from the url of the class they want to import, but that's a last resort.
Has anyone else experienced this and have a better solution? Or could this get fixed so our instructors can find their classes again. ( Beside an issue that someone else already posted about, the classes being sorted from oldest to newest and some of the instructors can't see their previous classes they want to import ).

The example for search failing there was also using an "&" symbol. The "solution" was to search by course ID code, which I understand is not ideal.

Edited to say that this indeed looks like a bug, as when I add an & in my searches, it seems to ignore the & and anything that goes after that. I couldn't find it as a known issue, but it would be probably good to send in a ticket to Canvas support, if others can replicate that too.
These two questions do seem to be releated.
