My employer provides professional development courses through Canvas.
I'm also a student at a University that uses Canvas for their LMS.
How do I combine the dashboards so that I can see my employer-provided courses along with my academic courses?
(I have many students with the same question. Two different institutions, but they want to see courses from both on the same dashboard.)

@KentB477 ...
I recommend that you reach out to your school's local Canvas administrator(s) to have this conversation (or someone from their Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Education department). They might then be able to take your concern to their assigned CSM (Customer Success Management) team at Instructure. That's probably your best route at this point for a question like this.
Good morning, @KentB477 ...
I see that you also added a comment to this thread ... which you posted here:
Solved: Re: combining two school accounts into one account - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
The comment on that thread from Kelley (now retired) is still correct. It is not possible to combine two separate Canvas accounts from two separate schools that use Canvas. In chatting with another Canvas Coach, it would be quite difficult to make this happen. Therefore, I recommend keeping bookmarks in your web browser for both of your schools that use Canvas so that you can log into each of them as needed.
Sorry I don't have better news for you, but I hope this helps to answer your question.
Where do we submit a ticket to make this happen?
It may not be possible now, but it's apparent to many users that it SHOULD be possible.
Let's make a change instead of dismiss the challenge.

Hi @KentB477 ,
I don't see any way to make this happen that wouldn't be a massive privacy violation. Your employer and your academic institution use different systems to secure user data, and sharing across those platforms would be illegal in most (if not all) states.
The only exception I can envision is if your employer has some sort of a contract with that particular university to administer its professional development courses, but even then I would think the data would be separate.
I just keep separate windows open on my device, with different login credentials and different Canvas dashboards. I switch between them by clicking on the Chrome icon for each or by using alt-tab.
