I also strongly request color coding options for modules. This green and grey coloring just blends together and it is hard to differentiate types of assignments for students. Additionally, for accessibility, if you had it pre-programed for us to select a type of emoji or unicode symbol that auto adds to these "colors" it would cover the ADA and accessibility issues and allow there to be options for teachers to personalize modules and lessons for ALL grade levels. You already have green as a color on the assignment symbols and edge of the individual items, why not allow this to be color coded and the "assignment" symbol personalized for teachers to differentiate between paper and online submission for assignments in modules?
ADDITIONALLY, as a parent, this would help me monitor my students assignments and help me support my own son.

Hello @AmandaSHarrison,
Thank you for this idea. This added customization could be really helpful. Is this previously submitted idea along the lines of what you are thinking about?

Yes, to a degree. It would also be nice to be able to change the icon of the paper and pencil as a color or different customizable icons for how we are collecting them, or notes, etc... Just like the chain link is for a URL link and the paper and pencil is for an assignment, if that could also be a dropdown customizable for what it means to our classes, PLUS this idea would be AMAZING!
