Hello,
I think the answer is no, but I thought I would check with everyone and see. When using the scanner feature in the Student app, is it possible to add a second page of a document? If so, how?
Thank you,
Dave

Yes, there is a button labeled "Keep Scan" on the screen after each picture, and I've also seen it automatically activate the camera with a "Ready for next scan" prompt. Here are direct links to those sections of the Canvas Guides documents on uploading files:
Thank you @dheup for that screenshot. I see a message that the PDF file type is not allowed. That tells me that the assignment settings are what's causing the problem. It's possible to limit the types of files that can be accepted.

Does this help?
Actually, PDF is the only type allowed which is why the app won't work. Even if you could fit two pages together (and still read them), we couldn't submit it.
Thank you for your responses.

Hi Prof. B,
Thanks for the help links but I thought Dave's question about whether it's "possible to add a second page of a document" meant to add a document that is several pages long. This scanner seems to only scan one page at a time so if a student has two pages, they get two separate scanned documents. Is that correct or can a two-page document be uploaded as a single document?
Thanks,
Donna
Great question, @DonnaLove. I think each each is a separate file, so to make a two-page document a single file would require careful camera work.
