Can't unpublish.

My courses don't have an "unpublish/publish" button in the top corner. So how do I unpublish?

it looks like you are on the modules page.  The green circle on the right side of the module name is what you click to publish or unpublish a module.

the button you are talking about is for assignments and quizzes.

@coramdeo Has there been course activity in the course?  Once grades have been issued, you can't unpublish a course (note the "notes" area at the top and the last bullet):

How do I publish a course? - Instructure Community

You can conclude the course or I recommend just putting end dates in the course and restricting student access, both done in the course settings menu.

I misread his question the first time about unpublishing the course.  He was showing a module page, so my mind went immediately to publish/unpublish modules and not the course.
