Hi all:
Is there a way to batch move files from the default location to subfolders I create? At this time I only know how to move one at a time.
Thank you in advance.

Hi @keefern ...
Yes...it's very similar to moving files in folders on your computer. When you are in your Canvas course, click on the "Files" course navigation button. Then, go to the area of files you want to move. You can press Ctrl on your keyboard to select multiple individual files you want to move. Or, if you have a list of files that are all together one right after another, you can click on the first file, and then hold down the Shift key while clicking on the last file you want to select. The entire range of files from the first to the last one you clicked on will be selected (in light blue). At the top of the "Files" screen, you'll see an icon for "Move" that looks like a double arrow pointing up and down. Click on that icon, and a window will open asking where you want to move those files into a different folder.
This is probably better explained in this Guide:
How do I move and organize my files as an instructor?
I hope this will help a bit. Sing out if you have any questions...thanks!
