Assignment rubrics no longer visible to students

There seems to be an issue with the newest update that rubrics assigned to Assignments are no longer visible to students. All that shows for instructors is a preview rubric option and then the students cannot see anything.

I have looked through all the rubric options and upload rubric options, but I cannot figure out how to let students be able to see a rubric anymore.

I have included screenshots of the Teacher view and the student view. Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?

A couple of us Community Coaches the other day were looking into this, and after doing some testing, it turns out that enabling assignment enhancements - student (this must be enabled at the account-level via feature options) is what shows the rubrics to students. I recommend reaching out to your Canvas Admin team so they can enable that for you. It appears it must be a combination of the rubric redesign being enabled without the enhancements actually becoming enabled at the same time. So, you'll want to make sure those are turned on.

I'm an admin and we do NOT want to suddenly enable assignment enhancements in the middle of a semester, so this is not acceptable. We need students to see rubrics on the assignment page as before.

Meanwhile, @LaurenHoffman09, we've come up with a less-than-perfect workaround. Students can still view the rubric if they go to Grades, then click on the assignment, then use the small "Show Rubric" link at the top-right. Hopefully we'll get the regular student view back ASAP. We can consider changing assignment enhancements over the summer, but not mid-spring-semester!

I connected with support on this yesterday, the rubric issue is a global issue with enhanced rubrics. No ETA on a fix yet, we are going to turn off enhanced rubrics for now. This will allow students to see rubrics again.
