Uploaded iPad video displays distorted in Canvas

Teacher uploaded a landscape video from her iPad into Canvas. When the video imported, it was distorted and squished into portrait dimensions instead of landscape.

She's done these steps many times before (recording on iPad and uploading to Canvas) and the video has always displayed correctly.

I do not have an answer for you but this sounds like a situation where Canvas Support needs to be contacted so that they can look into it.
