Canvas Student App on Android devices - error when linking to Microsoft Teams Live event

Students using an Android device are experiencing an error when trying to link out to a Microsoft Teams live event. This link is working fine for Student App users on iOS devices. It should link out to the Teams app. Instead it is trying to open within the app which presents the error.

I did some testing and checked a few ways to link to the Teams app through the Canvas Student app. I ran into the same issues as you, though. I suggest you contact your local tech support so they can put in a Canvas support ticket to get this investigated further.
