Hi all,
I would like to let students to insert their names and topics choosen in a table.
This "global" single table should be compiled by every student within a specific day/time, as an assignment, even if there will not be a grade.
What solution should we use?
Thanks

@RobertoCucco - have you considered using a wiki page that is editable by students?
Instructor guide - https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-edit-a-page-in-a-course/ta-p/791
Student guide - https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Student-Guide/How-do-I-edit-a-course-page-as-a-student/ta-p/479
Embed or share the link to a Google Sheet that has permissions set to anyone at your institution can edit.

That's an excellent option, @Jeff_F. The only addition I have is that the page history can be viewed so who added what and when can be viewed:
I use this in my own classes when one student accidentally overwrites the content provided by a classmate.

Another solution, @audra_agnelly. And like the wiki page inside Canvas, the edit history of a Google Doc can also be viewed. Have you run into a problem where students have logged into another Google account and so can't easily access your institution-provided Google account? I use Google Forms for some assignments but every semester have one or more students whose browsers don't understand that logging into Canvas is also logging into our Google Workspace for Education (we use single sign on).
