Discovery page issue

I have created a discovery page to help our parents who use the app.  We use SAML google authentication for our students because we use Chromebooks in our district.  The issue with the discovery page is when the student clicks the student button on the discovery page, it opens a new tab with the discovery page again.  They can't get to our instance of Canvas from the discovery page.  Not sure what I have done wrong.  Canvas support does not help with discovery pages.

First, I want to apologize for your question sitting in the community for so long without a response.

Second, it looks like you have stumped the Canvas Community.  Were you able to find an answer to your question? I am going to go ahead and mark this question as answered because there hasn't been any more activity in a while so I assume that you have the information that you need.
