Last September, we were generating tests in some courses with Smart Search and obtained the following results:
a) Smart Search only searches based on KEYWORDS. The search engine neither understands nor processes phrases or questions.
b) When searching for a word unrelated to the course content, the search engine returns practically any response.
c) It doesn’t open documents, nor does it search within documents.
In our tests, we didn't find what the AI function in Smart Search is; we perceived it only as a keyword search engine.
