Infinite Campus Category Sync

This is our first time to sync assignment groups with Infinite Campus.  Everything is set but I have one question that I am hoping someone who has done this before can answer.  Right now the categories that the teachers sets in Infinite Campus are not showing in the pull down after you select the Sync SIS Categories.  The only thing that shows is either Unassociated or Posted Grades.  Keep in mind school has not started so the terms are not active - could that be the issue?  Just need a little direction in training our teachers.

Thank you for reaching out to the Instructure community regarding associating Canvas assignment groups with Infinite Campus grading categories. You are correct. Since the term had not yet started, teachers would not have been able to associate their Canvas assignment groups with Infinite Campus grading categories . Once the term starts, teachers would be able to associate their Canvas assignment groups with Infinite Campus grading categories.
