New Quizzes - showing grades upon submission

My students are able to see if their results on submitted answers for fill and the blank questions once they submit their quiz. However, I have the box checked to "Restrict student result view" and everything is unchecked underneath the statements "Uncheck all to hide result view and show submission confirmation only."
Why is this happening?

I'd recommend reaching out to Canvas support for this issue, as it's likely going to need looked into a bit more in-depth on that particular quiz.
You are correct that it should be functioning where if you have all options unchecked under "restrict student result view", your students shouldn't see very much information at all on the new quizzes result page. That page should be just a confirmation that the quiz was submitted. If they are seeing information on that page, with those settings, it's possible something odd is happening.
