New Features |
Mastery View Predictive Assessment Report Bulk Export
District and School Administrators who have available Mastery View Predictive Assessment reports can select multiple benchmarks in the Benchmark Index and export those reports in a single action.
New Item Type: Drawing
Assessment and Item authors can create and use the Drawing item type. This new item type allows students to respond to question prompts using drawing-style tools, such as freehand drawing, segment drawing, compasses, and more.
Note: This item type replaces the now deprecated Image Highlight feature. See the section on Deprecated Item Types for more details.
Updated Features |
Keyword Search Support
Users can search by keyword for text-based content within items in the Assessment Builder and Item Bank views. This feature supports simple search, phrase searching, and exact phrase searching and prioritizes title matches–ensuring the most relevant results.
Passage Keyword Search is only available when searching in the Passages index. Passage content will not appear in keyword search results when searching for items.
Updated Item Type: Math
Assessment and Item authors can create and use the Math item type. This item type allows students to enter a response into one of the math response boxes as set by the author.
Note: The item type serves a similar function as the Formula Item Type, and the Formula Item Type has been deprecated. See the section on Deprecated Item Types for more details.
Updated Item Type: Math with Rich Text
Assessment and Item authors can create and use the Math with Rich Text item type. This item type allows students to enter open-ended math-focused content.
Note: The item type serves a similar function as the Formula Essay Item Type, and the Formula Essay Item Type has been deprecated. See the section on Deprecated Item Types for more details.
Deprecated Items Types |
This release begins the deprecation of several item types: Image Highlight, Formula, and Formula Essay item types. Each of these has a corresponding item type that generally matches or expands on the item type.
Item Authors cannot create items with these types, and are recommended to use the corresponding item type that replaced it.
Existing items can continue to be used on existing and new assessments, but these items can no longer be cloned or modified. If such a modification is needed, it is recommended to create a new item from one of the corresponding item types.
