Assessment is showing up in multiple units on the tracker

We have several trackers where a standard may show up in multiple units. When we add an assessment for a certain unit with a standard that also may be in another unit, the assessment shows up in multiple units.
We only want the assessment to show up in one unit. However, when I delete it from other units it deletes the assessment from all units.
How can we have the assessment show up in only a specific unit?

Unfortunately, there is not a way for a multi-standard assessment to be reflected in just one unit if the standard is part of several units. The assessment will show for every standard associated with that assessment. By default the mastery levels will show the most recent score, so no matter where the assessment or standard lives, the mastery level will be updated with the most recent assessment (the unit would not matter).
