This behavior has been resolved and deployed to the production environment as of 5/22/24.
Description
Clicking "Mark Thread as Read" causes the user to go to the top of the main screen, causing them to lose their spot on the page. This happens in both split screen view (regardless of whether I open the tray or not) and inline view.
Expected Behavior
Using the “Mark Thread as Read” or “Mark Thread as Unread” options do not move the user to the top of the discussion thread. Users should be left of the post that they changed the status for.
Workaround
No workaround exists at this time.
