Running a Trend Report
Although the Elevate Data Quality Scorecard provides you with a current Data Certification Score (DCS) and violation counts, you may want to view changes in the DCS results or number of violations over time and possibly compare school progress. The Trend Report provides a visual graph comparing up to five schools at a time, as well as a table of results over the time period you specify.
Open Trend Report Options
To run a Trend Report, log into Elevate Data Quality. From the main Elevate Data Quality menu, click Reporting and select Trend Report.
Select Observation and Variable
In the Trend Report Options page, click the Observation drop-down menu [1] and select an Observation to report on such as Student Data Validations – School.
Click the User Variable for Trending drop-down menu [2] and select School.
Click Next [3].
Note: Trend Reports are for Validations only. (Elevate Data Quality Alerts have no DCS.)
Select Option Details
- To run a trend report that displays DCS over time, click Data Certification Score radio button [1]. Alternatively, to run a trend report that displays number of violations over time, click the Violations radio button [2].
- In the “Date Range” section [3], choose a time period over which to view the DCS changes. To specify a particular date range, choose Range and enter the start and end dates. Click Refresh.
Note: The Trend Report works best if you limit to one school year. - In the “Runs to Include” section [4], select the schools you want to include in the report.
Note: If you download a report, unzip the zip file created and then view the Trend_Report.html file.
