"Making a copy of" message within Course Regardless of what content is added.

Hi,

I am dealing with an issue where I keep consistently seeing the same message within the assignment page of a course every time I add in content to it (attached screenshot). It does not matter if it is from the vendor's external tool or TCC. It also does not matter if the content is uploaded within a module or assignment. Has anyone experienced this error or know how to resolve it?

Hi DMCGEEEDWARDS,

That is a bit odd, but that particular message should appear whenever content is being copied or migrated into the course and should be relatively short lived for a single item. Depending on the publisher's external tool, it could be they're using that copy function to bring those items over into your course.

If those messages stay in that form for a long period of time, and don't seem to be changing, I would recommend double checking with Canvas support so they can investigate.

Thank you for the info. I will check with Canvas support since this has been happening for the past month now for any vendor we try to add content from.
