Which Features should we enable or disable? Haven't been in school for 23 years.

Are you setting up a new course as an instructor? Are you referring to the items to enable in your Course Navigation Bar or are you referring to the "Feature Options?"

@RachelJ98 Most users leave the various features set to the default behavior.  In most cases, the default user and course settings work for most people.   I highly recommend that you view the Canvas Overview (Students) video guide to help you get used to Canvas.

If you want to change the notifications your receive from Canvas (or their frequency or where/how they are sent) you should refer to How do I manage my Canvas notification settings as a student? . If you want to add an additional email address to your Canvas account for notifications to be sent to, you can refer to How do I add an additional email address as a contact method in Canvas as a student? .  If you would like to change the layout of your Canvas Dashboard, refer to Dashboard Overview (Students) .
