Upload File is not functioning

Hello!

One of the students couldn't upload his assignments and asked his instructor to upload it on behalf of him. However, the instructor couldn't do it either, as "Upload" tab was unavailable. The instructor says that this function is available for all assignments except this one. We've checked the settings ang there is no problem there, so we are a bit confused now.

Could you help us to find the reason adn solve this problem?

Submitting an assignment on behalf of the student is a permission that is set by your school's Canvas administrators.  Assuming that they are giving instructors permission to do so, are you following the steps as outlined in this Guide?

Yes, we are following these steps. I attached a screenshot to make the problem clearer.

Hi @DilnozaRashidov,

Submitting on behalf of students is only available for assignments configured in Canvas as Online -> File Upload.  The screenshot you provided in your reply seems to show an external tool type of assignment, so submit on behalf of would not be available for that assignment.
