Submissions for a teacher are showing as black pages

Hello,

I am currently having a teacher who is having an issue with speedgrader. In google chrome on the latest version, she is grading google slides/powerpoint presentations. Some pages appear as black and some do not. When you use the zoom function, the pages loads in and show everything. Why is that and what can we do to take a look at why it is doing that?

We have ran all updates available, we uninstalled and reinstalled chrome, we reinstalled graphics drivers, we reset network connections, we cleared chrome's cache and history. We tested this speedgrader in Firefox and no issue occurs. Why does it happen in chrome only? It's happening to one user.

It sounds like you have covered all the bases normally mentioned as a fix.  Does this teacher have any scripts or extensions in chrome that may be causing the issue?  Also, a while back there was an issue with displaying in speed grader related to the width of the browser - I do not recall exactly what it was, but the view changed based on what the width was.  Have the teacher try changing the width of the browser window to see if the problem goes away.  It seems strange, but it may be related to how Canvas is displaying in the browser and some strange interaction is occurring.

There were some extensions that were on but we disabled all of the extensions and nothing came to fruit. We can give it the width a try and see if that helps.
