I am confused about which calculation method to use when setting up a rubric in Outcomes for a moderated grading assignment. Since multiple graders will be submitting scores using the rubric for each student, I think the n number of times method will work, but how is mastery factored in? Ultimately, we want to be able to select the student's average score from all the graders for each criterion in the rubric and see the final criterion scores (not just the total score) in the Learning Mastery gradebook.

Hello @DianaCooley ,
This will likely need some more information and it would be best to contact Canvas Support with examples and specific students to look at for this. That way we can narrow down the best way to provide your the best grade outcome. This can help with contacting them https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Basics-Guide/How-do-I-contact-Canvas-Support/ta-p/389767

@DianaCooley I wonder if you had any solution regarding this as we are setting up some moderated assignments with outcomes that will be scored by multiple grades.
It was determined that Canvas was not able to average the criterion scores from multiple graders on a moderated grading assignment, it could only give the rubric total, which was not what we needed. So we abandoned our attempts to use Canvas for grading the assignment and went back to a paper scoring rubric and an Excel file. Students still upload the assignment to Canvas so all graders have access to it, but it is not graded in Canvas.
I am also interested in having Canvas provide the option to average criterion scores from multiple graders.
As the final scorer in moderated grading, it would also be helpful to view scores from two or more moderators at the same time when entering the custom scores. Currently you cannot view scores from more than one grader at a time.
