I'm trying to add Rubrics to my assignements by pulling outcomes that I have previously created.
When I go to add a rubric, there is a line there ready to edit to add your own criteria, instead I am using the 'find outcome' option to bring my outcomes in. But for some unknown reason, Canvas won't let me remove that initial blank criteria, as shown below:
As far as I know the delete icon should be where I have marked, but it seems to be missing.
I have deleted all the outcomes and reentered them, deleted and remade rubrics, I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe it's just a small thing I've missed, but anything will help!

I actually solved this issue myself - it was the good old turn it off and on again. By saving the rubric, refreshing the page and selecting edit again, I was able to delete the criteria I didn't want there.
@MHCCFieldAdmin ...
Unfortunately, I don't think you are alone in this recent oddity. I've seen other postings here in the Community and on an unofficial Facebook group of Canvas teachers that have experienced similar things with not being able to delete rubrics. I'd suggest reporting this to Canvas Support so that they can log the issue and let you know when it has been resolved.
Thanks for the encouragement to report this new bug. Back in January, we were able to delete that initial, default criterion. Updates providing bugs. Sigh.

yes that issue was reported on here a few weeks ago. I submitted a ticket about this matter and they are working on the solution.
Your answer is the one I provided previously for "fixing" the issue.
