In my "Syllabus" tab, the "Course Summary" lists due dates for the current class. That's fine. But at the bottom it also presents a list of obsolete items -- mostly empty calendars from previous courses! These show up in the Student View as well and they should not be there at all.
See attached screenshot.
How do I remove them?
Solved! Go to Solution.
@khaber The only way I know of to get rid of those is to actually remove the assignment/discussion/quiz from Canvas. That area is auto-populated from what is in the other areas of Canvas so if that deliverable exists in the relative area of Canvas still, then it will show on the course summary.
Hope that helps!
Nick
These are actually Zoom meetings that were copied here when "Import all content" is chosen during import.
To delete them, click on any one of them, then click on "Undated" at the lower left. This opens the item and a "Delete" button appears. Apparently this must be done one-by-one.

Thanks, Nick, but these are not assignments, so they are not listed under Assignments. They are apparently residues from previous courses. Surely there's a way to remove these? Thanks again.
Hi, I just solved a similar problem in my instance. We had Zoom link pages with dates on them that populated in this area. They came over when we imported the course. I just went into View All Pages and deleted them.
@khaber are they on the calendar somewhere or what were they? Assignments in the old class that do not exist in this one?

In the future, remember to Import "selected" content from one course to another.
I think it's crazy that Canvas includes "Calendar Items" in the "import all content" function. NO ONE wants to import old Calendar Items. This is one of the many idiosyncrancies that the Canvas developers should fix.
