Removing access restrictions on a test student for demonstration purposes

I usually record weekly videos where I go over the list of assignments and tasks using the "View as Test Student" feature. However, I've noticed that the same requirements are imposed on the test student which means I am unable to move forward without "completing" said tasks. While I understand that this is meant to test if the requirements/prereequisites set by the instructor are actually working, it can be quite tedious for me as an instructor to have to "act" like a student every semester (by submitting assignments, taking quizzes, etc.) only to make the items available for demonstration purposes. I was wondering if there is a way to grant the "test student" an exemption so that the requirements and restrictions that are imposed on actual students are not imposed the test student.

I'd also like to know how other members of the community go about this. Or perhaps there is a better way than what I am doing currently?

If your module requirements are for a certain score, if you prefill the test student's score on the assignment then that also meets the requirement just like completing the assignment would. I haven't tested whether this also work for a requirement of "submit", and you'd still need to click on anything that said "view", but it might streamline things if you went through your gradebook, selected Test Student and just typed "85%" (or whatever you set your criteria at) over and over to pre-grade them for the assignments in the way.
