Is there a way to print the rubrics that have been created?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you are viewing the assignment, you can see the rubric underneath the assignment details. With that, you may be able to print to PDF just the page(s) that the rubric is on. I know that may not work perfectly if it doesn't fit neatly onto a single page.
I've also used the Screen Snipping tool in Windows and created a .png version for easy reference.

Are there any updates on being able to just print a graded student rubric from the field in which the student's rubric resides?
There are instances where it would be helpful, as in the case when meeting with a student or a parent.
I am grateful for this comment, but it is not a solution and should not be marked as such.
This has been repeatedly requested for several years at this point. This should not be an issue. Attempting to do a work around to print the rubrics is frustrating and results in either a lot of work or missing information from the rubric.
The only acceptable resort currently is to maintain the online rubric and a text document. However that means making sure that you update the text version anytime you change/modify the CANVAS rubric.
Of course the other option is to not use the rubric feature in CANVAS and stick to the text document.
Either solution defeats the purpose of the LMS and the reason to use CANVAS.
Come on folks this has been asked long enough and frequently enough that you should make it possible through the software.
I don't know what I search this site for answers to questions as as basic as "How do I print a rubric?" when I know I'm just going to enraged by the fact that there are years of posts asking the question and demanding the fix and yet nothing has happened...
This is ridiculous. If the assignment has a paper/presentation component, and you want to sit with a clipboard and rubric to grade while watching the presentation, you can't. How presumptuous that the rubric would ONLY be for an assignment that appears on Canvas, especially since there is an option for assignments to submit them on paper.
