Multiple Attendance Assignments in the Gradebook

Our Canvas courses have two "attendance" buttons in the course navigation bar, and those scores appear to be connected in the gradebook, but they are listed separately. Does anyone know why this could be happening and how to fix it?

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with multiple attendance tools in your course. It is possible that there are duplicate LTIs set up to track the attendance. You could check this by going to the course settings - apps - view app configurations. If there are multiples here, it would be best to speak with the school so that the correct one is removed. If you only see one attendance tool, your school or Canvas Support can assist further.
